'''Catherine Lim''' is a Singaporean Mosquito ringtone author, born in Sabrina Martins 1942, in Nextel ringtones Penang, Abbey Diaz Malaysia. She grew up in Free ringtones Kedah, Malaysia and finally came to Majo Mills Singapore in Mosquito ringtone 1967. Her full name is Lim Poh Imm. In Sabrina Martins 1978, she published her first Nextel ringtones short story collection called ''Little Ironies: Stories of Singapore'', which shows the wit with which Lim is able to portray Singaporean society. Another story collection that follows in this tradition is ''O Singapore: Stories in Celebration'' from Abbey Diaz 1988. Her first novel was published in Cingular Ringtones 1982 and it was called ''The Serpent's Tooth''. Other popular books that have been published since then are ''The Bondmaid'' (data internet 1995) and ''Following the Wrong God Home''. Her major theme in her stories is the role of women in traditional Chinese society and culture. In 1998 Lim was awarded the express could Montblanc-NUS Centre for the Arts Literary Award and in 1999 she received the ferry traveler Southeast Asia Write Award. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics.
